Hi friend, thank you for visiting my little corner of the internet. I’m truly so happy you’re here. :) I’m Sarah Kenny, the founder and sole proprietor of Curious Delights.

Curious Delights was originally conceptualized in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic (or, the Dark Times as I like to call it). Some major FOMO coupled with hardcore isolation turned out to be the catalyst I needed to even think of doing something so bold, like starting my own business.

Curious Delights remained only a concept in my brain for some time, but the idea just never left me alone. Fast forward 4 years later, and I finally felt ready to take the actual leap. “Okay, just make some damn candles, and you’ll figure the rest out,” is what I told myself in early 2024. And turns out my inner voice was right.

The Curious Delights candle lab is based in my home office in lovely Berea, Ohio. Like I mentioned, I’m the sole proprietor, so I wear ALL the hats. Research and Development, Production, Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Customer Service- you name it, I do it for the love of candles.

I’m a chemist by training, which has given me a solid foundation and understanding when it comes to the science of candle-making. But at the end of the day, I love to express myself through my creations, and that’s exactly what I am doing through Curious Delights.
